Josh Philips
Don't trust him when he's sleeping. Don't trust him when he's awake. Don't trust him with a pencil - he's an evil cartoonist for goodness sake. Josh is one of the finest examples of Evil Cartoonist that the Guild has ever accepted and he makes us proud. It's not for nothing that fans of his strip call themselves Lynchers. It's not for nothing that the forum for his strip has more "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why did x do that/y not do that/is there no comic today?' threads than any other strip around (note: this facts is totally made up but sounds good). Josh has been torturing his readers with plot twists and turns not just once, not twice, but practically every other strip! And the fact that the strip is only Monday to Friday means that many a reader has spent their worried about a cliffhanger (amongst other things - Lynchers *do* have lives I presume)
And that's not all. For Josh has a plan. He isn't one of these 'write the strip week by week' people, he has a goal, he has an ending, and he's not going to reveal the steps along the way to anyone. Not even the shadow Guild Leader (and believe me, I've asked!).

Josh also wins some credit for making one of the most subtext-ladened strips on the web, although he claims this to be a happy accident. But is he telling the truth? After all, no matter where two or more Lynchers gather, they will pick apart a strip and work out exactly what a character is thinking *really* or means *really*, and that can only be deliberate on the part of the cartoonist. Or it could all be dacut's fault. But Josh gets the credit for making it possible.
